Buffalo Bills quarterback situation an enigma heading into 2015 offseason

The Buffalo Bills quarterback situation is pretty barren with the retirement of Kyle Orton. How can they move on? Jay Skurski of The Buffalo News joins us to discuss.

The Buffalo Bills quarterback situation is pretty barren with the retirement of Kyle Orton. (Some would say it was barren before!) With a little help from Jay Skurski of The Buffalo News, we discuss how the team might add their 2015 starter over the next several months.

We start with EJ Manuel and discuss his potential moving forward and why or why not he could be the answer to the question. Then we take a look at the list of free agent NFL quarterbacks that include Mark Sanchez, Christian Ponder, and more. We base the QB conversation on a newly created "Orton metric" where we have Skurski say if the free agent QB is above or below what we could reasonably expect from Orton. It's quick and easy.

At the end, we also spend some time on the 2015 NFL draft and discuss the possibility of getting one of the top rookie quarterbacks. (We don't go past the first round since we already discussed those in our interview with draft expert Dan Kadar earlier this month.)
